Open Air Baptism in Northern Kenya

I have been to Eastern Africa with the McGregors three times and every time has been truly life changing. We went with groups of 8 to 28. We answered the questions that worried us and felt very secure in the fact that we had two Christians preparing for our arrival. Upon arrival we were glad to find that our faith had been answered and everything that was represented happened and more. We went with a purpose but I can honestly tell you the purpose seemed secondary to what we received in our visit. People told stories about how their lives were changed in the trip in the least expected of ways.

I travel all over the world staying at very exotic places and at my earliest opportunity I will be going back to Eastern Africa to visit the McGregors to vacation with a purpose.

Taking a team of 12 out to work with Todd and Patsy in Northern Kenya was a great: We learnt so much about the realities of doing God’s work in far reaches of the earth and were inspired by their passion for this work.

But more than that, it was the communities and people we worked with who really moulded and shaped the trip. Although we were set on giving as much as we could to the communities where we worked, it was nothing in comparison to what we received and how we were changed through working with them. I can say with complete confidence that this was true of every member of our team.
